Baseball Recap: Calumet Wins Going Away Against Clinton

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Cobb-Broxton, Calumet was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Clinton Red Tornadoes with a sharp 17-8 victory. That nine run margin sets a new team best for the Chieftains this season.

Calumet now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Clinton, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Calumet has already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Woodward on the 27th. As for Clinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-4 victory against Kingfisher on the 27th.
