Basketball Recap: J.Z. George Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when J.Z. George faced off against Ethel on Tuesday. The J.Z. George Jaguars skirted past the Ethel Tigers 45-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-53 back in November.

The win made it two in a row for J.Z. George and bumps their season record up to 4-5. As for Ethel, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.Z. George will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Calhoun City at 12:30 p.m. on December 21st. As for Ethel, they will head out on the road to face off against French Camp Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ethel is facing French Camp Academy at the right time seeing as French Camp Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
