The Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans will take on the Downtown Doral Dolphins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Hialeah-Miami Lakes suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Varela on the road and fell 65-37.
Meanwhile, Downtown Doral pushed their score all the way to 61 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a rough 87-61 defeat at the hands of iMater Charter. Downtown Doral has not had much luck with iMater Charter recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Downtown Doral got a solid performance out of Juan Diego Castro, who scored 41 points. That was a full 67.2% of Downtown Doral's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Giancarlo Romero, who scored five points.
Hialeah-Miami Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Downtown Doral, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
