After losing to Classical the last time they met, Hope decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blue Wave were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Purple on Wednesday. Considering the Blue Wave have won three contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hope pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Classical, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hope is set to challenge their familiar foe Providence Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Classical will square off against rival Davies Career & Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
