Baseball Recap: Arroyo Valley Takes a Loss

Arroyo Valley blew Notre Dame out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Notre Dame got their revenge. The Hawks fell just short of the Titans by a score of 7-5. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 12-0.

Roy Reyes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Another player making a difference was Jorge Reyes, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Arroyo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Notre Dame, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Titans beat Arroyo Valley by a score of 3-2 later that day.
