North Suburban Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Thursday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Quinn Schambow Dazzles in Libertyville Win

Libertyville picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Quinn Schambow. Nobody could stop Schambow as he threw for 232 yards and five touchdowns on only 16 passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.

If the past is any indication, Schambow could be in store for another big game when he takes on Lake Forest on Thursday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Schambow saw the Scouts), he threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown.

Another Game with at Least 113 Rushing Yards from Aaron Stewart

Aaron Stewart's rushing tear continued on Thursday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 113+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 60 yards.

Stevenson's probably not too fond of Stewart given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Stewart saw the Patriots), he rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
