Preview: Pike County Bulldogs vs. Goshen Eagles
Pike County is 8-2 against Goshen since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Pike County Bulldogs will be home for the holidays to greet the Goshen Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Pike County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Carroll by a score of 50-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pike County has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Goshen lost to Brantley on the road by a decisive 65-46 margin on Saturday.
Pike County's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Goshen, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
Everything came up roses for Pike County against Goshen in their previous meeting back in January of 2022 as the team secured a 46-15 victory. Does Pike County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Goshen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
