Basketball Recap: Whitney Point Takes a Loss

Whitney Point lost to Newark Valley back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a hard 70-53 fall against the Cardinals.

Whitney Point now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Newark Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Whitney Point will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Edison at 7:15 p.m. As for Newark Valley, they are taking a road trip to take on Charles O. Dickerson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
