Volleyball Recap: Tigerton Tigers vs. Marion Mustangs        
        
		
             Tigerton was the  3-0 winner over Marion when they last played one another  on September 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigerton Tigers fell  3-1 to the Marion Mustangs on Tuesday. The Tigers have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Tigerton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 3-25, 25-17, 25-18,  25-16.
 Tigerton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Presley Stewart-Rolfs, who  had five  aces, four  kills,  and four  kills. That's the most  aces  Stewart-Rolfs has posted since back in August.  Danika Tiller was another key player,  getting seven  digs and two  aces.
 She wasn't the only good server: Tigerton  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 13  aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're  ace total in four consecutive  games.
 Among those leading the charge was   Taya Jannusch, who  had 13  digs. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Tigerton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Marion, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-7.
 Tigerton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  loss vs. Port Edwards on the 26th. Marion has also already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  defeat against Bowler on the 26th.
