Soccer Recap: West Scranton Takes a Loss

West Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Western Wayne Wildcats. While getting shut out isn't ideal, West Scranton haven't been shut out since back in September.

West Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Western Wayne, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

West Scranton will venture away from home to face off against Lakeland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Scranton will be up against Lakeland's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.12 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Western Wayne, they will host Gregory The Great Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
