Baseball Recap: Westhampton Beach Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Westhampton Beach's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Eastport-South Manor Sharks on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sharks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-5 on Monday.

This is the second loss in a row for Westhampton Beach and nudges their season record down to 2-14. As for Eastport-South Manor, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

While Westhampton Beach had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
