After a string of eight wins, Bearden's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 60-53 to the Oak Ridge Wildcats. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 69-54.

Bearden's loss dropped their record down to 31-5. As for Oak Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-3 record this season.

Bearden will head out to challenge Morristown-Hamblen East at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Morristown-Hamblen East will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Bearden surely won't give up without a fight. Oak Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
