Soccer Recap: Midview Find Success

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midview). They came out on top against the Lutheran West Longhorns by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Midview also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Kaiden Vonya and Andrew Morris scored all three of Midview's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Midview's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Lutheran West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midview will venture away from home to square off against Berea-Midpark at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Midview will be up against Berea-Midpark's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lutheran West, they will face off against Hawken at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hawken will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lutheran West surely won't give up without a fight.
