Basketball Recap: Kingman Comes Up Short

Kingman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-31 heartbreaker at the hands of the Camp Verde Cowboys. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Camp Verde to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wa'Siiva Lewis, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shanell Russell, who had ten points.

Kingman now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Camp Verde, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Kingman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-24 defeat against Round Valley on the 12th. As for Camp Verde, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-19 loss against Holbrook on the 13th.
