Volleyball Recap: Southwest Onslow Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Southwest Onslow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Heide Trask Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Southwest Onslow started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-12, 25-12, 25-18.

Southwest Onslow's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Heide Trask, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southwest Onslow will take on rival South Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Heide Trask is set to face off against their familiar foe Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
