Sabetha owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the St. Marys Bears. The five-run effort marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Not much got past Chloe Detweiler, who gave up just four hits and racked up eight Ks to keep St. Marys off the board. Detweiler has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brooke Wiltz, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Edelman, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Sabetha's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. Marys, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sabetha beat the Bears by a score of 14-4 later that day.
