Neshannock won the last time they faced Northgate and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Lancers put the hurt on the Flames with a sharp  12-1 victory. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Jackson Latta looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk any time he's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  Matt Pallerino was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lucca Mezzanotte, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 Neshannock was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .545. They are 10-1 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Neshannock's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-4. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Northgate, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record  this season.
 Neshannock didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  13-0  win against Varsity Opponent on the 30th. As for Northgate, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  9-4  loss against Hillel Academy on the 1st.
