Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jack Gollow and Quinn Coffey Lead Lakeview to Victory

Lakeview was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Northwestern Regional on Friday. The Lakeview Warriors put the hurt on the Northwestern Regional Highlanders with a sharp 69-44 win. The Warriors pushed the score to 51-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Highlanders had little chance of recovering from.

Lakeview was led to victory by Quinn Coffey and Jack Gollow. Coffey dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 boards, while Gollow went 6 for 8 en route to 16 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Weaving, who posted ten points and six boards.

Lakeview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Lakeview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Northwestern Regional, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
