Basketball Recap: St. Charles Takes a Loss

St. Charles lost against Vestaburg back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The St. Charles Bulldogs took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vestaburg Wolverines. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Charles' defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Vestaburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Charles won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Coleman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coleman is on a four-game streak of home wins, St. Charles a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Vestaburg, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Montabella at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montabella has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
