Merritt won the last time they faced Snyder and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Oilers put the hurt on the Cyclones with a sharp 20-8 win. The Oilers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 12 runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Merritt and bumps their season record up to 5-7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Snyder, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
