Volleyball Recap: Saegertown Takes a Loss

Saegertown lost against Meadville back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Panthers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Saegertown's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5-1. As for Meadville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-1-3 record this season.

Meadville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cochranton on the 10th. Hopefully Saegertown paid attention to the Bulldogs' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
