Soccer Recap: Apalachee's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Apalachee's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Alcovy Tigers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Alyssa Hunter and Madison Mabry scored all three of Apalachee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Apalachee's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7. As for Alcovy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Apalachee take on Jackson County at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for Alcovy, they will face off against Salem at 5:30 p.m. on March 20th.
