East Forsyth had lost three straight headed into Friday's contest, but Dominique Tshiboyi didn't let it get to four. The Eagles came out on top against the North Rowan Cavaliers by a score of 64-56 on Friday thanks in part to Tshiboyi, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 3 blocks per game.

Despite the loss, North Rowan saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jordan Massenburg went 10-for-19 en route to 26 points. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for Massenburg. Carter Williams was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for North Rowan, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

East Forsyth will take on Walkertown in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Rowan and Carson will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
