Baseball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

If Manchester was feeling good fresh off their 15-4 takedown of Northwest on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Indians on Wednesday, falling 8-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since April 13th.

Manchester now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Northwest, they moved to 6-12 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Manchester will challenge Mogadore at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest, they will head out to take on Barberton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians are facing the Magics at the right time seeing as the Magics are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
