Cajon got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They blew past the Citrus Valley Blackhawks 3-0. The Cowboys not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 30-28, 25-18.

Annalisia Garcia paced Cajon's offense, picking up nine kills. Garcia got some help from Sayra Corona and her 28 assists. Finally, Manaya Odom kept Cajon's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

The win snapped Cajon's losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 9-11 record. As for Citrus Valley, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-16.
