Volleyball Game Preview: Skutt Catholic SkyHawks vs. Lakeview Vikings

The Skutt Catholic SkyHawks will challenge the Lakeview Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Skutt Catholic sitting on eight straight wins and Lakeview on seven.

On Saturday, Skutt Catholic made easy work of Seward and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-10.

Skutt Catholic had a senior duo take command as Marin Brummund had 15 digs and three aces and Mia Stevens had 15 assists and six digs.

Meanwhile, Lakeview got the win against Pius X on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Lakeview won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 26-24.

Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 30-4. As for Skutt Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 28-10.
