The Overton Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the Latexo Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Tuesday, Overton got the win against Alto by a conclusive 3-0.

Overton can attribute much of their success to Sadie Pahlman, who had three digs and 19 assists, and Bryleigh Nelson, who had 12 digs. Pahlman has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Overton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Latexo made easy work of Carlisle two weeks ago and carried off a 3-0 victory.
