Soccer Recap: Hampton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Hampton Christian Academy lost against Atlantic Shores Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seahawks. While losing is never fun, Hampton Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 59th, while Atlantic Shores Christian are ranked seventh).

Hampton Christian Academy's goal came courtesy of Michael Ruff, who's now up to two this season.

Hampton Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-2 record this season. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
