Volleyball Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Maranatha Christian Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Perry-Lecompton Kaws by a score of 2-0. The Eagles were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Kaws, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.

Maranatha Christian Academy was led to victory by Macy Karlin and Abby Nash. Karlin had 13 digs and two aces, while Nash had 19 assists. Nash is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Maranatha Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Perry-Lecompton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

Looking ahead, Maranatha Christian Academy will challenge Bishop Seabury Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perry-Lecompton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Rossville at 6:00 p.m.
