Basketball Recap: Vilonia Takes a Loss

Vilonia lost against Little Rock Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vilonia Eagles took a 72-54 bruising from the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Warriors are ranked fifth).

Vilonia has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vilonia will venture away from home to take on Beebe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vilonia is facing Beebe at the right time seeing as Beebe is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Parkview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
