Softball Recap: St. Cloud Has No Trouble Against Tohopekaliga

St. Cloud got themselves on the board against Tohopekaliga on Tuesday, but Tohopekaliga never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Tigers. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

St. Cloud has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tohopekaliga, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Coming up, St. Cloud will be taking part in a tournament against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Kowboys have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Tohopekaliga, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
