Volleyball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Krum Bobcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-12, 25-9.

Krum's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Labrum led the charge by getting four digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Labrum a new career-high. Angelina Saied was another key player, getting 12 digs and five assists.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 9-25. As for Krum, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-15-1.

Bridgeport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Eagle Mountain on the 17th. As for Krum, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Lake Worth on the 17th.
