Lamar finds home pitch redemption against Arlington

There's no place like home for the Lamar Vikings, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Arlington with a sharp 4-1 victory on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Lamar needed considering they were shutout in their previous zero matchup.
The victory got Lamar back to even at 3-3-1. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-3.
Lamar will head out on the road to challenge Bowie at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Bowie's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Arlington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Martin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Martin and Arlington are at an even 4-4-2 over their past ten head-to-heads.
