Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-13.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for North, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Looking ahead, Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Goldwater at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North, they will head out to square off against McClintock at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
