For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Rockport and Amesbury meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Vikings narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Redhawks 2-1. For Rockport, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win Amesbury walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Patrick Timothy and Charlie Donato scored both of Rockport's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Rockport picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-1-2. As for Amesbury, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1.
