After a string of nine wins, Lane Tech's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Naperville Central Redhawks. Alyssa LoVerde was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Lane Tech's goal came courtesy of Rebecca LoVerde, who's now up to 11 this season.

Lane Tech's loss dropped their record down to 13-2-2. As for Naperville Central, they pushed their record up to 14-1-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
