There's no place like home for Spring Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves on Thursday. The Cardinals not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-17.

Katie Matthys paced Spring Valley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Matthys got some help from Addison Nelson and her 29 assists. Matthys was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Spring Valley's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Elmwood/Plum City, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-13.

Spring Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Durand-Arkansaw on the 14th. As for Elmwood/Plum City, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Three Lakes on the 11th.
