Volleyball Game Preview: Hurley Tigers vs. Crane Pirates

The Hurley Tigers will square off against the Crane Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hurley comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Hurley challenged Mansfield on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0.

While Hurley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Crane lost 3-0 to Spokane on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Owls: they've now lost eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-4, 25-17.

Crane's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Hurley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
