There's no place like home for Wayland-Cohocton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-12 victory over the Geneseo Blue Devils on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Wayland-Cohocton got a big performance out of Alex Fedorchuk, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Orion Walker, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs.

The win got Wayland-Cohocton back to even at 3-3. As for Geneseo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayland-Cohocton will welcome Dansville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Geneseo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
