Softball Recap: Daniel Comes Up Short

Daniel lost against Blue Ridge on April 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 13-3 to the Fighting Tigers. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maria Bowers was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Daniel's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Blue Ridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Daniel is set to square off against their familiar foe Greer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Blue Ridge will challenge rival Berea at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
