Baseball Recap: Inderkum Takes a Loss

Inderkum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Christian Brothers Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-1 loss last Thursday.

Jaylen Dawson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Inderkum now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Christian Brothers, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Inderkum will face off against Twelve Bridges at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Brothers, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Christian Brothers Falcons face off against Vista del Lago Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Vista del Lago 3.8, Christian Brothers 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
