Baseball Game Preview: Anaheim Colonists vs. Saddleback Roadrunners

The Anaheim Colonists will face off against the Saddleback Roadrunners at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Anaheim has four straight victories, Saddleback has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Anaheim's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Godinez Fundamental.

The team relied heavily on Aiden Uribe, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of James Franco, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Meanwhile, Saddleback lost 14-1 to Anaheim on Tuesday.

Saddleback's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Anaheim, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Anaheim got the 'W' when the teams last played on Tuesday against Saddleback by a conclusive 14-1 score. Do the Colonists have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Roadrunners turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
