Baseball Recap: Archbishop Carroll Comes Up Short

Archbishop Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DC International Dragons. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Nate Green was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Isaiah Parker also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Archbishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for DC International, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Carroll will welcome The Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DC International, they will venture away from home to challenge SEED DC at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
