Softball Recap: Bossier Comes Up Short

Bossier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Haynesville Golden Tornado, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Tornado this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in February.

Bossier's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Haynesville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bossier will welcome Plain Dealing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Haynesville, they will be playing at home against Doyline at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Haynesville's pitchers better be ready for this one: Doyline has averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
