Klein Cain suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Klein Cain Hurricanes vs. Tomball Memorial Wildcats
The Klein Cain Hurricanes were the 49-47 winner over the Tomball Memorial Wildcats when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Klein Cain was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 33-32 to Tomball Memorial. Klein Cain has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tomball Memorial was led to victory by Dasia Hyams and Skylar Kearns. Hyams scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Kearns scored eight points along with two steals.
Klein Cain's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 11-14. As for Tomball Memorial, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-15.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Klein Forest the next time they take the court. Tomball Memorial will host Klein Forest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Klein Cain will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
