Novi Christian Academy came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Faith Christian as they made off with a 16-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Tyler Brown made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBI. Novi Christian Academy is 7-1 when Brown posts two or more runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

In other batting news, Luke Gallagher and Sam Snipes did most of the damage at the plate: Gallagher went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three doubles, and one stolen base, while Snipes went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Gallagher is becoming a predictor of Novi Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 8-2 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Brett Polakowski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Novi Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April.

Novi Christian Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Faith Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.
