Basketball Recap: Trinity Lutheran Falls Despite Big Games from Marley Warren and Rachel Bonde

Trinity Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scottsburg Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 79-62 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Trinity Lutheran's loss came despite strong showings from Rachel Bonde and Marley Warren. Bonde posted 21 points, while Warren had 13 points. Those 21 points gave Bonde a new career-high.

Trinity Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Scottsburg, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-12.
