Basketball Recap: Olton Comes Up Short

Olton suffered their biggest defeat since January 26, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 58-30 loss at the hands of the Hale Center Owls. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Owls recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Olton's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 18-7. As for Hale Center, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olton will host Sudan at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hale Center, they will challenge Lockney at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
