Baseball Recap: Mountain Range Comes Up Short

Mountain Range was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakewood Tigers. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Mountain Range's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Lakewood, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Range will face off against Northglenn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakewood, they will head out to square off against Columbine at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
