Basketball Recap: East Liverpool Comes Up Short

East Liverpool lost against Indian Creek back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The East Liverpool Potters took a blow against the Indian Creek Redskins, falling 68-31.

Indian Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mckenna Scott led the charge by going 7 of 11 en route to 18 points along with six assists and four steals. Scott has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 28 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydence Walker, who went 9 for 12 on her way to 19 points.

East Liverpool dropped their record down to 6-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Indian Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

East Liverpool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-32 victory against Harrison Central on the 9th. As for Indian Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-34 win against Beaver Local on the 9th.
